Hi there!

We've just purchased a '70 Dormobile and generally its sound..but the gutters are shot!

Luckily, from what we can make out, the rot hasnt set into the roof yet so we can hopefully get away with just doing the gutter 'lip'.

Now I can find plenty of straight gutter sections available, but havnt come across any of the rear corner sections. Is this available to buy or do we have to bend it ourselves?

Cheers!

Try these people they may have suitable clip panel.

We had exactly the same issue on our '71 Dormobile, but the rot had gone through on the rear corners (see the series of pics at http://www.steve-brown.co.uk/Gurtie/photo115.html.)

I got a whole rear roof section (from a late bay) from Volksheaven, and gratfed that all in. Bit of a job but no rot now.

Hi
I made one from a straight section of gutter, put a piece of thick card on
top of your good corner and draw around the profile of gutter, cut this out and reverse it.put the gutter in a vice and cut slots 15mm apart into the inner edge of the gutter with an hacksaw and bend this around your template then weld it up.keep checking on the van for correct curve, when your happy grind the welds flat  ..It is a bit of faffing around I know but it works. But saying that if I had to replace one again Id be looking for a donor section ,because the replacement gutters don't match the original profile of the original .but like i say it can be done :)
