Hi all

Looking to replace the big heater pipe that goes from the y-piece to the cab. Mine currently has a big length of cardboard pipe that goes from under the cab to the y-piece, unfortunately its all spilt and leaking! :(

Not sure what to replace it with, spotted this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=130266841101" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Reckon a big length of this stuff wrapped in some insulation would do the job?

Any suggestions of what to use?

cheers :)

Thats cold air ducting.....it may well take a dryer but certainly not the extreme heat from your exchangers, that coupled with the fact its ultra flexible means its gonna be trailing along the road in next to no time....

hello

when i first got my van it had something like that on it but made totally from metal and because it could flex it made a load of noise

i manage to get plastic heavy duty pipe that could with stand a bit of temp and it is working really well.

but i can' t think where i got it from will have a search and also climb under my van tomorrow

hope that helps a bit

Thanks Jim that would be much appreciated! I see just kampers list a metal rear section but cant find the flexible front section listed :( Would much rather just fit a complete flexi bit though!
