Good evening people.

I have just put my 71 Danbury into its 1st MOT since I have owned it. I have been told today that it requires a fair amount of
welding to get it through!? The rest of the bus is in ok condition.

I think I may have been a little eager when buying a van and should have taken a little more time when looking.

Does anybody know anywhere in the Norfolk area that specialises in restoring Camper Vans.

This has not put me off owning a van, I just need to decide if I am best to get another and sell my current one to an owner that
knows what they are doing or pay the price to have the underneath sorted.

Having had new gearbox, clutch, interior trim, oil seals, steering damper and starter motor, I feel reluctant to have to sell it.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Got any pictures of what needs doing?

I'm sure some people on here could advise better given that :)

Welcome we have all been there. Bought mine 3yrs ago went through and is still going through the underside process. have been getting it done by a friend. At least you will know it has been done when finished.

If you sell and buy another you may be going through the same process.

Looked at another van a week ago looked good from the outside, but when under oh my god, it was like a cheese grater filled with filler.
