Help needed to de-code paint number to RAL / BS code

Hello all I have just made some repairs to my camper and need to blend them in to the original colour.

I would like to get the paint from Rustoleum direct as I heard there really good matching vw colours.

I'm aware the colour is Neptune Blue (L50K) but this is a automotive code and Rustoleum need the RAL / RS code.

As per title can someone give me some guidance.

If you want to match the original or old paint then you may find it has faded, so even buying the correct paint wont give a perfect match.

If you go to a good spray shop they will have one of those little electronic gizmos that you put on the paint and it reads the colour and gives the mixing proportions required to match it. this might be a better option.

Oh didn't know paint shops can do that cheers for advice however I would like to use the Rustoleum combi-colour smooth product so needed to figure out the RAL number.

Done some research on the internet and have found out the Ditzler (PPG) code for Neptune Blue which is 13454 but still no luck with a RAL code

I have ordered 5 litres of Rustroleum combi-colour smooth off avenue coatings today mixed to L50k. They recognised the colour straight away no problems.

It will cost about £85 delivered which for the whole van is awesome and the paint is a rust inhibitor product!

Will keep my Gallery pics of the van up to date when I painting it.
