any of you fine gentleman done a door skin replacement, i've managed to pretty much get the old one off, right decision in the end as the botom of the door needs really good looking at.

but along the top of the door where it folds over into the glass recess there are some spot welds i have no idea yet how to get to them to re-weld.

does anyone have any pics of there rebuild of a door skin

seriously, has no one else done this, now i'm worried got to work it out all of my own skill  well if nothing else by the time i've done it i should be able to help anyone that asks in the future

Change the title of your thread. I'd say people aren't logging in because they think it's another thread asking how to upload pics.

If I were you, then I'd bond it opposed to trying to weld it..

Sikaflex or Tiger seal would work fine, or you could get some panel bond :)

Hi Paul, yep just discovered the joys of tiger seal, was going to use that as much as possible to hold the skin especially around the edges but i have a hand held spotter (nabbed from work not used for years) so might just bang a few spots around the lip to be sure.

it's more about around the window return wondered if there are any tricks to know

I replaced the skin on both my doors. Don't remember any welds on the top lip. The only welds I had to do was with the inner frame as in this pic:
