I think I've gone too far.....

thought I'd chop some of the rust away today above the reasr LHS window. its been caused by the pop top rubbing over the years, as ever - there is always more than you think.I bottled it, but had to carry on........ Have I gone too far?
should I give this to a restorer or carry on?

I do have apiece to replace it with but, it means getting closer to the window, then the window ledge may as well be done etc etc

I,d press on with it, ok you might get a bit worried, but by the time you,ve got that peice welded in you,ll keep working at it untill your happy with the paint finish & looking good, so what if it takes a bit of time.
Good luck I think you,ll be ok looking at the end result of your dash..

my whole roof was replaced on my 69

had to rebuild the rear sections aswell
