Interier light and headlights

Just fitted this on my old interier light set-up, happy with it other than it only works with my headlights turned on don't ask me how I worked that one out ,any thoughts before I look at it electrical things not my thing.

If it is fed from the headlight switch and not the interior light switch you will have to move the spade connector or similar acoss.

Thanks My headlights were changed last year from us to uk so I guess It was done then .
