Interior colour question

Hi,

One for the buffers out there...

Viewed a 68 USA deluxe earlier today (Titian Red & white) - believed to be all original...

However, the interior was a bit puzzling as it had all-red interior panels. The door panels were red with black trunking, behind seats/bulkhead panels were red and had the lower chrome strip, but sliding door panel and long one opposite were all red but didn't have chrome strip.

The bus had black cab seats, and black middle and rear seats.

From my research (L. Meredith & TheSamba.com) I thought Titian red 68 deluxes buses came with the two-tone grey interior panels.

So maybe two-tone grey is Euro spec? Or were the spec of US buses a free-for-all?

No I didn't! Schoolboy error eh

I remembered that I hadn't taken a photo of the m-plate whilst I was stuck in a monster jam on the M25 on the way home...

Have emailed the seller and asked him if he could forward details - or even a photo...
