I am after some clips for my interior panels, the ones I have which I would like more of are a ivory colour plastic plug and bracket (or thats how I would describe them) but I have only seen modern type clips available, anyone any ideas where I could look?

I'll get pictures if it helps...

Sounds like you may be after some Dormobile ones - are they a 2 part clip that pushes in first and then a round (about 5mm dia) plug pushes into this and expands the entire clip? - kind of a semi transparent plastic - old ones seem very brittle and break.

If you only need a few I have some spares you can have

Andy

There the ones :D

Yeah, just after a few to fill some gaps. Particularly the sliding door as the card hangs loose at the bottom and rubs against my arch...

How many do you have? And where did you get them?

I got about 15 of them by (mega) carefully removing them from a Dormobile in Volksheaven's yard that had had the roof cut off (shame really as it was very complete and original - did manage to save a few cupboard handles / hinges / cab curtains / trim edging etc).

I also scored some more at Stanford Hall a few weekends ago. There was a bloke there selling rakes of Dormy stuff (complete immaculate interior - everything bar the bunks, wanted £900 quid though  ) got grill pan, curtains etc off him.

I'll count up how many spares I have when I get home tomorrow night and let you know.

Cheers ears! :D

I saw that interior, but didn't see any clips. I'd presumed he was selling as a bulk lot so didn't enquire

Found them in the bottom of one of his boxes, as well as a canvas gas bottle strap in as new cond and an original letter and "D" stickers for rear and cab doors, I spent ages rooting through his stuff - best autojumble stall ever IMO!! ;)

LOL

I didn't get there until 1:30ish so was trying to get round quickly to look at the stalls in case I missed something. Should have looked harder to avoid missing things!!
