Thinking of getting this Just Kampers interior panel kit for a Bay. Has anyone else bought one and if so what did you think of it?

Got these, one was damaged. They aren't a great fit, the holes are over sized so my original chrome capped push through clips on the tailgate and sliding door won't fit. Also there is no cut out on the tailgate one for the quick release lock. My bus is a '68 and the cab door cards were such a bad fit none of the holes lined up at all, like not even close. So I got a refund.

know what you mean i got a set had them recovered the holes did not line up with the holes in the bodywork.

i got around this with heavy duty velcro but not impressed.

A lesson to learn here kids, go custom! :D 8)

It was suggested by the guy at JK that I should modify them. £105 for the previlige of having to modify them. I'm sick of suppliers fobbing us off with sub standard parts. Bugger it, they can have 'em back at their expense. Interestingly the courier that picked them up was the guy that delivered them, according to him they get at lot of these back.

hmmm. i need to bits for my interior, just plane mdf will do as they will be hidden. gonna get a new set made though for the rest of the van

I got a set from spirit of the 50's, the holes actually don't line up with the ones on the doors as with the original clips they need to be about 2cm off centre?

Takes a bit of twiddling to get all the clips orientated right but then straight in. Tailgate is a diferent matter as the holes do seem to line up so I can't use the original clips, or is there another type for this panel?

Cheers stodge

Yeah had the same trouble as you guys,i had to put the clips around the outside of the panel :x JK send their bits out real quick though but they are low quality,my back light and indicator rubber seals have perished already,i only bought them in july :!:

I got some supposed genuine front indicator seal from Heritage, they have been on 3 months and are already split. I've got some rear ones coming and have told the supplier that if the crack up real quick I will be having a refund. Phone JK and tell them they are knackered after only 7 months of use, they will be obliged to send you another set.

Yeah i'll do that, i was gonna get a genuine set from heritage next year when i sort the body work out. I quickly and cheaply got the bus on the road because it was on my parents drive,i told them it would only take a couple of months to do but it took 14 :!:
