So, looks like I might be pulling the engine to replace the inlet manifold. What else do you suggest is done while the engine is out?

Thanks.

Replace all the fuel pipes, fit filter outside of engine bay and check tank connection.
Drop the gearbox as well and change the gearshift bushes.
Clutch and release bearing.
Check bellhousing for oil, usually crankshaft seal.
Clean starter and replace starter bush....

a good service , valves ,oil (drop oil before removing fill up once out ) plugs , check tinware all tight maybe dynamo bushes , oil/air filter and check clutch , copper grease cable and wing nut

regards
chris

And what I need to do if I pull mine is whip off the fuel tank panel and check the filler neck for leaks....

replace the rubber seal all around the tinware

replace the spark plug rubber seals

clear the drain pipes either side to stop water collecting on the battery pans

don't fit cheap trash engine dress up kit
