Lotus White

Hi, my bus van is being prep'd for painting but I'm still unsure on the colour - well I'm 90% sure that i'll take it back to the orginal Lotus White (L282).

Would aanyone be kind enough to post some pictures of their Lotus White vans so I can show the Mrs and ensure we make the right decision.

I guess taking it back to the original colour is the best way forward?

I have recently resprayed my van back to original Lotus White and I fully recomend it.

It looks fresh and with having sprayed the wheels and bumpers in Cloud White the contrast is great.

Will try to get some pics up for you but have had problems getting photo's transfered on to photobucket I think it's because I have had the cookies blocked on my security system. If I can work it I'll put some on.

Were they ever repainted in the 2 colour scheme at the conversion to camper?

ie my m code says lotus white, but would Devon have added a lower different colour?

.. but to add to your original post, I think it would look cool, and would consider it for mine..

hi rob, my van also is lotus white, its not as good contd as bigrich, but still ok, take a look in gallery, am planning on having mine resprayed in winter, would deff keep to the original,

As promised here are a couple of pictures of my van with it's new coat of Lotus White paint.

This is after it's second top coat was applied.

This is it finished on it's first outing in June.


I have no regrets with painting Lotus White. besides it worked for me as this was my first attempt at a respray.

What paint did you use?

Cellulose. Haven't got the skill or equipment to tackle 2pack. :?
