Recieved a new book in the post yesterday listing most known M Codes for all Bay Windows, very interesting too
Found out some stuff about my bus some good some bad!!
M119 Eberspacher BN4 petrol heater with outlet in passenger compartment ( no longer on vehicle )
M147 7 seater instead of 8 seater
M130 without steel sliding roof (bad choice there I think!!)
Bus is marked UF, which means it was shipped to San Francisco from Germany
Paint code 0906 which equates to Elm Green L60D and Pastel white L90D
other minor things like gearbox and engine type and interior trim styleee, pretty cool I think.
If anyone has any unknown M codes they may want deciphering give us a shout I may be able to help!
The book is VW Transporter and Microbus, specification guide 1967-1979
By Vincent Molenaar and Alexander Prinz, availiable at all good bookshops blah blah!!
