He's still working out bugs so post on the samba to find out. ;)

Just did.

Do the US use the build nos. differently to us.
for example
12.2 to us is the 12th week, day 2 of the production year. e.g. 18th March
12.2 to them is 12th day, calendar month 2. e.g. 12th February

Didnt the date coding change at some point?
Will check the M-code bible & let you know

Ok - upto 17 March 1969 (~chassis numbber 219151000) there were 2 digits for the day & one digit for the month - O, N & D used for Oct, Nov & Dec.
after that week & day number was used.

As yours is a 69 you will need to check whether the chassis number is higher than that ^^^ and then convert appropriately.

That concludes todays reading of the m-code bible

Hey guys, I watch my server logs to see where people come to the decoder page from and found your discussion here. I noticed some of you cannot access the automated m-plate decoder and some can. The reason for this is because certain blocks of European IP addresses are currently blocked on the server firewall due to a huge number of security attacks from those addresses. I apologize for the inconvenience and and working to make it so that everyone can get to the page soon.

Thanks,
Khris

I have tried to view a few times, don't worry - you weren't under attack. :D

:D The attacks are actually not normal web requests, so your visit wouldn't have been a problem. Do you know what your public IP address is? I can see if you are in one of the blocked ranges. The website http://www.whatismyip.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; will tell you what it is. If you are in fact in one of the blocked ranges, I will open up that range to see if you can get to it.
