I bought some white vw mudflats a while ago and I decided to have a go at fitting them.

They came complete with brackets but I can't work out how they fit.
The brackets are right angled ones.are these the right brackets for a bay?

Cheers

Hi,

There is stuff on the samba, and a link i think i posted on here somewhere...?

http://www.gowesty.com/ec_view_details.php?id=3571&category_id=254&category_parent_id=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here is the one i posted, but on the samba, plans for making the brackets:

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=340421&highlight=mudflaps" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's more:

That do ok for you? ;)

Cheers,

I have a set of white "Beetle" style flaps and still not sure which type of bracket to make and have seen all these posts on Samba. The brackets they come with are no use as they are for a Beetle.

If I come up with a solution I'll post it up.....when I get my bus back that is.... :D

As mentioned above, they are Beetle flaps with Beetle brackets and are of no use.

The Samba bracket diagram I understand is for late bays, so again, not much use to us.

I bought the 'Turkish' bus style mud flaps, which are long overdue in arriving :? (yet another dodgy ebay transaction) and will make up some brackets to fit in wherever they will sit right. Hoping my oil cooler doesn't get in the way! I hope to have this done in 1-2 weeks.

Did anyone find a good solution to mounting mudflaps on EBs- for those of use who don't have a workshop or metal working skills/tools...?
