That is soooo nice 8)
I would love a DC, but the wife would kill me :(

i want to put the csp-discbreaks in the front. the original breaks are realy not as good as that. i use the bus very often during the summer and go in the mountens too. uphill isn't the problem but downhill....

i have to take out once again the engine. i have an oilleak and the oil goes in the clutch.

and when i allready take out the engine, i had the idee to change the gearbox for a longer one (from the 1800 or 2000 bus) to get a better speed on the higway.

i have to rework the 36 dell'orto carburators too. the guy who made the regulation of the 1776 engine told me, that they are from an alfa, and arn't modified. i thought they were :?

and a lot of littel stuff i have to fix too

for the moment i see enought to do...

ive fitted a 1302s gearbox from a 72 1302s beetle to my bus it was very easy . The front gearbox mounting bracket had to be modified and the inner driveshaft CV joints were swopped for beetle ones and the gear linkage was lengthed by 35mm at the front . But it was very easy to do and my bay now cruises at 70mph 110KPH very well with a 1776cc engine . i too have CSP discs on the front and they are very good and stop well :D
