Morning all. Early Bay newbie here. Got a 1970 Bay walkthru, was a Kombi but had a hideous home-built, black ash interior - now a large pile of ash and a fond memory from a good night... Wanting to build an interior but not really sure what to do. don't want traditional camper interior, more of a day-van kinda thing but with rock 'n' roll bed and bunk for little girl. Anyone suggest or show piccies I can use for inspiration please? Many thanks all, Jimbly

Hello mate and welcome!

This is mine, it has a r n r full width bed and not much else, I do have a unit that I put in when im off on longer hauls but take it out as it isnt needed most of the time.

You could you put a child bunk in the front of the cab (over the front seats), which will only cost a few quid and give you the most space.

I can recommend this interior if you can find one ( they come up on ebay from time to time). It's a Devon Caravette interior and it's great as a day van but it also has a bed that pulls out. We have a cab bunk for the little one.

Good luck and welcome.

Have a look at Danbury interiors

Probably more pics on other peeps threads as well.
It doesn't use a rock n roll bed, the table drops down to make the bed with a couple of bits of wood. I like the set up because you can leave all your junk above the engine.
It means you have to have 2 buddy seats but again i like that.

Of course i am biased!

Just Kampers sell the cab bunk sets and a basic removable camping unit with sink etc.
