No indicators, flashing gen light.

advice needed... when I indicate I'm getting the alt/gen light on the dash coming up and no indicators working, the alt/gen light flashes, battery is getting voltage when idling. Could this be an earth problem somewhere?

Difficult to say, could be an earth problem or could be a faulty relay

This problem can also be caused by corrosion on the ends of the fuses.
Easy fix, just remove and clean the ends of the fuses, a light smear of Vaseline will help stop them corroding again.

Think I've located the problem, turned the hazard switch on and off and the gen light went put and indicators worked, I'll replace the switch and hopefully all sorted.
