Evening all!

Need to re under seal the bus as much of the old is coming off, gonna go for clear waxoyl, just wanted some advice from some one who' has done it on the best and easiest way to apply it! These pump kits any good ? Or brush on?

Also, whilst I'm on with the interior, the floor in the back is in good shape but I'd like to protect it, it's nice and original paint, thinking of clear waxoyl over it to protect it? Via a brush

The pump kits are pretty good, but you need to stand it in a bucket of hot water to get the black waxoyl to flow... I've not used clear, so you'll have to see how you get on with it :)

Thin it with white spirit and heat it up as well as you can. Do it soon before the weather gets too cold!

Have you got a compressor? If you have buy yourself a shutz gun and some schutz(about £13 I think for a kit on eBay) use the schutz in the wheel arches then refill the tub with waxoil. Makes the job a lot easier and quicker.

If you haven't got a compressor then the pump kit is also good as long as you properly clean the gun out or it will block

I don't have a conpressor at home, which is where the van is! Sounds like the pump is the way for me! I was un sure as I heard bad things about the pump kit. Is

Cheers

The pump kist work ok in perfect circumstances, but can also be a pain. Often the wax in the pot will stay fluid but the spray gun head will solidify which is annoying. The problem is lack of pressure, once youve used a compressor which mists the way to every last corner then you dont want to go back. All that said, the pump gun can do an ok job and its much better than no wax!
