Hey guys I've got a slight leak from the main pulley. It's spraying all over my nice cream to wear.

Any tips on how to stop this. I am running a stock pulley.

Check your oil levels firstly, but that would need to be quite overfull. Second thing is crankcase pressure which you should have some. If you got too much pressure like with dodgy rings or something, that could be the issue, but also if you aren`t venting your crankcase properly this could cause the problem. So check your vents first. Behind the front pulley is a little weep hole that should be sucking a little air in aided by a venturi I believe in order to give you slight positive crankcase pressure which should then in turn be vented from the top of the engine somewhere usually into an air filter. Check the pipes for the vent as well, because the wrong pipes will swell and distort internally and block your vent, it`s probably a venting issue.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, It`s just finding it

I had the same issue on a 'rebuilt' 1641. The bottom pulley was aftermarket and did not have a decent amount of groves in it to throw the oil back into the engine, so swapped that. Also the angled piece of plastic pipe that connected the right carb to the breather pipe from the oil filler was partially blocked due to manufacture moulding. The bottom rubber valve that connects to the bottom of the same oil filler pipe was missing. In the end, it still dribbled a little oil so I fitted a breather box kit that connects to each rocker cover and the oil breather - cheap to buy, fiddly to fit but sorted.
