Radio won't work

Now that I'm back I'm trying to work on a few jobs, the first is the radio won't work. The light on it lights up when you turn the headlights on but nothing coming from the radio. I want to check the fuse but which one does it go to? I can't follow the wire as it's a mess. It's the original radio (I believe) and the 12 fuse box in a 1971 westy.

Radio is fuse number 9 and a 16amp fuse correct? Which is also the same fuse for the rear interior light? Mine doesn't work either so this would make sense, I think?

Radios should also have an in line fuse.
