when i remove the spare wheel and mount from the front panel, what am I likely to be left with?? Big ugly holes?? Im guessing they wont be positioned in the same place as the holes for the front badge?

Ultimately, I want to put a badge back on - am i gonna have to weld these or fill these up?

Hi!

Mine had a spare wheel on front, i think they are suposed to fit in the same 4 holes as the badge, unfortunately the previous owner had fitted mine with a mixture of plaster board cavity fixings, and around 12 extra holes drilled for good luck, and pop riveted.

Luckilly for me, ost of the holes are hidden by the badge, the otherr i just filled with some or just sealent for the time being. Maybe you could fine some small bungs to save you having to weld up.

Good luck!

I found the holes to be the same but were bigger, so I made up spacer to reduce the size and glued it in place then used the normal fixings
