Revamping the gearshift...

Looking at this page on the VW Heritage site and I'm as confused as you like, could somebody define which parts I need for to recondition the gearshift mechanism on a '68 bus?

Items 11, 17 x2, 18, 19, and 21.

Although you can adapt another 19 to fit halfway along the shaft like later buses.

the collar on the gearstick itself wears to a flat and the lock out plate also wears !!!!
only choice is to weld or replace
