Rock n roll!.. Bed

Hey guys I'm in the Market for a full width rnr bed. has anyone used a volkswares bed? I'm interested in thier quality and usability, any opinions? it's either volkswares or a bluebird bed for me I think unless anyone knows of a better rnr bed??

bluebird beds are great, best is an original westy tho

i really wouldnt touch a justkampers rock n roll, the last one we got in the shop was
A too wide for a bay?! not sure how?
B way too upright, the back rest feels like its leaning forward. horrible to sit on...you end up leaning forward on the edge
C damn heavy! :shock:

I had the same problem with a just kampers bed, it wouldn't pull out without catching the door cards. In the end I drilled new holes in the wood to pull the hinges in a touch.

Have u thought about getting hold of some hinges and making your own with some good ply wood?

I first off bought a bluebird bed on others recomendations, and to be fair many folk seem to be more than happy with them. I was appalled, so sent it back and got a refund. When I couldn't get it to sit right, was told to move it around for the best fit. I asked what are the measurements and the datum for the mounting holes, again told to move it untill it fits. When I said it doesn't fit properly, there is a huge gap at the back and the mounting flanges sit right on a pressed rib, was told to 'smack the rib flat with a hammer, some of them are like that' What? VW pressings have random ribs pressed in them?!!! I could go on, but as I said, many people rate them, so each to their own. Me, bought a 40yr old Wesfalia unit. That fits and works and is very comfortable. Just my experience and opinion.

have to agree with kris and slammkustom i have one of these beds and there absolute ***** most anoying thig me and my family have ever sat on no wonder there a nifty they should be a tenner :shock:
