Was going to but we went last year and in previous years so we are giving it a miss this year and touring Devon and Cornwall instead

I am not going, as to be honest I am not a fan. Used to go for years but its a bit to much of a chav fest now. :shock:

Still a great weekend though but just not my cup of tea.

i gave up on RTTS a while ago, chav city now, and i got sick of idiots damaging my bus in newquay town... water bombs and panel vans dont go together well!


however its a good weekend to go to when your fresh to the scene
if you go have a great time, just dont expect any sleep! :lol:

Me too. I'll go to at least 8 different VW events this year but, I NEVER go to RTTS anymore.

yeah that sucked! or lets fill our super soakers with urine, bleach etc etc..
i once had a guy force down my passenger side window, breaking the mechanism and soaked me, my girlfriend and my stereo! i got out, went after him and made sure he wouldnt do it again! :lol:

i like a laugh but RTTS is (was?) out of hand, never again!

My club has an alternative event on that weekend, called

Run From The Scum!

where we go to a completely different place and have a great time! 8) :lol:

Its great its into its second year now. Just about to book us all into a campsite. The location is kept secret, to avoid chavlettes! 8)

Went last year, didn't stay onsite & must say i had no probs. Taking the van down this year with a couple of mates who have never been, just intent on having a good time in town.

last went in 2005 but never again, stayed on site and did enjoy myself but to many idiots for my liking as well as charlotte being hit in the face with a water baloon that did not burst. nice red mark on her face. oooch

Its not the same festival as it was years ago and think this photo at the show and shine summed it up for me.

And that was right next to the tent door :shock: :roll: Saw a couple of casualties from last year on VZi including one splitty with a huge dent in the front from a waterbomb that was throw from a car travelling in the opposite direction
Not one for me i must admit although the chavlett from works going in his suped up Golf :lol: Roll on Run From The Scum is all i can say. Cider, Surfing and steak and ale pies 8) 8) 8)

were going down on the 21st of may (mon) staying at a site near padstow, have stayed there b4 its great and were going home on the sat b4 chav fest begins, we got "bombed" the last and first time we went, needless to say its not all that, its only in a car park!(the show) and its rubbish, were just going down that way for one of our hols.
overated and dull if ya ask me, still if your 19 and drive a corsa/saxo/nova with a shopping trolly handle for a spoiler then you will be in your element!
the only good thing about R.T.T.S is we know where all the w**nkers will be at that particular weekend so we can go somewhere else! :wink:

i used to love RTTS, once went in a ****** up single cab 25, all sprayed up with chequered roof, i think the best way to enjoy is go in a right mess of a car and intimadate the ******* boy racers!!!!! makes me so pissed off, the little cun*s!!!!!

Really good for chilling out if you leave your pride and joy back at the camp site. the show day is a pile of ****, you get a couple of nice old scholl RTTS rods and some nice dubs...... however people who take there fresh out of the show room covered in custom plastic **** should **** off and think about what it all means!!!!! a ritual burning of of the best (as in the worst) plastic piece of **** would be a great attraction!!!!!

Then a hanging of all thing CHAV!

Really shouldn't post after a few beers!!!! think i'm getting a little....

It's **** that events like that get spoilt by people who don't have a clue what it's all about.

Gotta say I that last year it was very well policed. I only saw two incidents of water attacks and they were caused by locals. If you stay as far away from Trevelgue as possible you'll be ok. I've been to every RTTS since '86 and I have to say that last years was the best since about 1990.
