Evning all, lowerd my Bus last week but now came accross a problem.
Got to tow my 63 Teardrop caravan to Bugjam in a few weeks n got me thinking.
It weighs 350kg and is a single axle.
Spoke to the makers of the towbar about my situation. They told me that i must not fit a raiser plate to lift the ball 2 inches as it may cause problems to the chassis.
Anyone tow 1 spline down or do i need to get my spanners out again :(

towed a trailer to cornwall last year fully loaded, not sure how many turns we are but I would assume only 1. Hope this helps

Cheers.
I will probably take the caravan out for a local run on saturday and see how it goes :msn4: .

we use to tow the racecar and trailer all the time with a properly shagged out bay with sagging rear suspension without a problem, as long as you don't count the exhaust-fume filled cab, leaky roof, sliding door that use to fall off in your hand and being able to see the road through the floor ;)

Edit : not saying Hoosier that your Bay is "properly shagged out" by the way

I have towed my Eriba Puck over 300 miles fully loaded with stuff........my bus is pretty low.

I would say it would be fine.
