I've noticed that the glass in my speedo is loose, rattles about and there is a gap of a few mm around the top edge. Can anyone tell me how this should be secured and is it a full dash out job ?

Cheers

There is a metal bezel within the speedo housing...

So pod out and the back off to gain access...

I usually find that the plastic locking tabs/slots have snapped off, so some gluing is required!!

Cheers Paul. Was hoping it would be easier than that so I'll add it to my ever growing list

Got the pod out and exactly as you say, mall of the plastic tabs have snapped and disappeared into the unknown over the years.

When gluing is there anything specific as there doesn't appear to be a great deal to glue too.

I used some epoxy and glued the bezel to where the tabs should have been... You can always use a fine application of super glue to fix the glass to the plastic too

Cheers Paul. I've managed to wedge it all in place so see how long it last before I need a more permanent solution.
