I think they came from vietnam, I only meant the really fine scratches you get over time ,so make sure the rugby team take their muddy boots off first ! :)

sorry! im gonna stick by this as
the products mentioned in this thread are the same i am sure :|

I took the bumper to an engineering shop and they had a chuckle (at my expense) and told me I was dreaming to drill SS of this grade by hand. They quoted me £90, said it would have to be done in a drill press with cutting compound, lubrication etc etc.

sorry never heard such a load of rubbish :msn4: Tin coated or carbide drill will drill pretty much anything in any hand held power drill even a decent HSS drill would

I hate you for having such nice bumpers

Now saving up for them !!!!

German supplier, wonder if it would be cheaper to get them from germany

Hi all, just wanted to put in a plug for a great product and great guy to deal with that supplied my Stainless Steel bumpers. They are superb quality, mirror finish (pretty much like chrome) and will likely outlast the rest of my bus. Came with all the screws with polished heads etc.

He can be reached at [email protected] (name is Mr Rooney).

All in cost was 909 USD plus a little bit of tax/import duty (shipped direct from Vietnam).

I'm not associated with the supplier in anyway, just think it's great if we can let each other know when we come across something we really like!

Cheers,

Humphrey.

Hi Humphrey,

I contacted Rooney about these bumpers, look good.

How much was the import tax charge?

Cheers

Paul

Hi all, I just bought some from eBay - harrington group. Highly recommended by a few splitty boys. I haven't fitted them yet but the finish is superb.

There £550 delivered (£100 off currently) and I didn't get stung for tax

N SALE ! - VW BAY WINDOW BUS EARLY TYPE 2 T2a 1968-1972 STAINLESS STEEL BUMPER

I think google chrome browser is just extra sensitive as it gave me a malware warning in relation to harington group being known to distribute malware.

Looks like a really good deal though
