I've ben told that I need a new box as a previous owner has over tightened the current one.I cannot seem to find a retailer who sells or recons these-can you help?
I need a box for a 70 LHD bus.
Is there a conversion to rack and pinion or any other alternative-I vaguely remember something at Sandown a couple of years ago
thanks Paul

This company will rebuild your steering box..

Or Creative do a rack assembly for LHD bays. It aint cheap and is only suitable for std height or mildly lowered busses but reports of the splitty rack are very good. Oh, the bay version has an odd looking lump sticking out in front of the bumper.

Hiya paul,

Sit down, take a deep breath and point your browser at this.............

Thanks guys, now has anyone on here fitted the creative kit to a LHD bus?
If so how easy was it to do and does the extra cost justify it over a reconned steering box?
(I assume there is a cost difference have yet to work out/find out the cost of either!!)
regards Paul

jusat had an email from creative stating that they have removed the T2 steering conversion from there site -no reason given as to why?
Looks like a rebuild on my current box then!

That must be a new item as I have never seen that before, not cheap but like new, I guess rebuilding one is still a cheaper option.
