Sunroof headliner ATTN SUNROOF EXPERTS!

my bus came with no headliner, i bought a few bits of a guy including cables and a grey metal section like the one in the pic, is this the headliner section? i always assumed it to be made of plywood or the like? also how is it fitted? any info muchas appriciato

That is the closing panel for the sunroof that hides all the mounting bits and reduces noise. It should have roof bows attached and the headliner fits the same as on the main roof. The panel clips to the sunroof steel outer panel with plastic clips. Get some vinyl from Martrim to match the original and talk your mum/aunt etc to stitch it for you .

ive just got a load of black headliner mmmm so just weighing everything up, do i need that metal grey panel thing or should i leave it out and make something else? it seems a bit fidly to fit i think
