The beetle caravan trailer..

So you have all seen the 70's video of the beetle with a caravan towed from a roof ball hitch.

Well watch the video of a guy finding one of these trades in a junk yard and buying it.
Needs a fair bit of work I would say.

nice to see someone restoring that old trailer. They are certainly unusual in the way they connect up

Design fault? They quite literally couldn't have mounted the tow ball further away from the chassis if they tried! I can picture a load of overloaded trailers leading to doors that don't fit properly :lol:

It's a very cool idea though! I'll be watching with interest...
