Thickness of chassis metal

Can anyone advise what thickness metal I should use to repair chassis, I have brought 3 repair sections from Scholfields that should turn up tommorrow, but I'm going to have to make some parts up for my rottem chassis, I have a lots of 2mm sheet, would this be ok, or do I need thicker?

Like Curry says 2mm will be fine I'm sure - that's a professional looking MIG
in the background. Should be a breeze for someone who knows what they're doing...

Pleanty of advice and piuctures here to to help. Check out the Gallery if you have a
