Having spent 14 hours of trying to sort out ignition-carbs-exhaust faults with the expert help
of SK my '72 crosser aint going to bug-in :(
I can't thank SK enough, but I had to call time when the cursing of type4 motors changed
to mutterings of "lets put another motor init"
So the works van has been filled up with diesel & ferry tickets changed...if you see the
Renault Master (bright yellow) stop for a beer cos the EB spirit of my '72 will be there

Now im getting a little worried  my van runs a 1700 type4 and though it takes a while to warm up (stalls if I pull away too quick) I dont seem to have many probs.
What should I look out for?

P.S. I seem to be cursed with car shows as I always seem to have trouble like a day before

i was pricing an engine at john maher, and asked about type 4s, his reply was.. he doesnt do them as there too much trouble when they go wrong :(

i hope you get this sorted

it was probably the dodgy mechanic!

think it was one of those times we should have walked away for a bit. not a big fan of type4s but terrys is a good one. 7am til 8-30pm was a killer day... and no tea cos we didnt have milk

hope you all have a cracking time at bug in! next year ill make sure the passoport is in date
