Just be careful of their Euro Breakdown cover as it no longer includes repatriation of you and your vehicle back to the UK if it breaks down and despite them promising they would change this I've heard nothing else from them.

Its a real shame but with at least 2 trips planned into Europe again this year I wont be renewing with them, as I then need to arrange cover for each trip at extra costs. Virtually all of the other companies include the repatriation as standard in their cover.

After breaking down in Europe on a road trip a couple of years ago (in a... Ford :msn4: ) I can only say that you should always make sure your cover is adequate.

I bought the most kickass European cover that included repatriation and boy am I glad that I did.

As Graham said; if yours doesn't include it already then get it. Better still if it is included.

Also, wouldn't bother ringing them if you don't own a daily driver.
They wouldn't insure me because I didn't have a daily! I use public transport and walk/cycle so no need for me to own a daily. Gobsmacked I was, even more so considering I'd been with them 5 years without a daily! I use the wife's car when I need to go somewhere further than the town centre.
Probably why they have 15% off at the moment, people getting wise to them!

Peter Best have been my usual bus insurer Leon, still use them for my bug,very good guys, but cherished where about 70 quid cheaper, and european cover isnt needed for me atm, so they got my vote this year

Also, they wont insure me for my 1st year of a LHD policy

was told to come back next year and they would be happy to help.

I returned....then was rejected insurance as they would only insure me if the vehicle was garaged!!!

this year....i didnt waste my time!
