I'm off travelleing for a year round europe in my bog standard 1600 panel van. I have a pair of twin 34 ict webers knocking around. Is it worth me fitting them and getting van set up correctly on a rolling road or should I stick with the simplicity of the original carb.
cheers for any advice.

go for the twins....it makes a big difference in my opinion.

Go for the twins correctly set up will give better MPG than stock and you have the added beans if you need em 8)

definitely twins, for more pull and better fuel efficiency, but it will cost to set them up, @ £100 ave. on a rolling road.

looks like i'm going for the twins then, always fancied a bit of twin action.
cheers for advice

I am getting some twin Weber ICT34's installed with the view of improviong the performance & efficiency of my standard van for a trip round Europe, tho not going until next year, also going for pertronix electronic ignition to improve reliability somewhat.

When are you going and what route are you planning? PM if you wish.

Andy

If you want your twin carbs to be really economical, make sure they are setup for running a stock vac dissy. It really does make the difference over an 009.
