us spec acorn wheel nuts help

Hi i have a slight issue with my bus need to get the two front wheels off for mot and have no socket for these wheel nuts need one quickly anyone out there can advise me on these us spec wheel nuts and how to remove.

Those are called spline drive lug nuts which are not very common in America either. There are a few videos on Youtube showing how they could be removed. I'd be very cautious in trying some of their ideas :shock:

It looks like you have very little clearance between the lug nuts and the wheel. Does a thin walled 17mm socket fit?
