That's got to be doing at least 95-100mph. Its past the end of the numbers on the clock. Some serious in gear acceleration too.

Surely at 95-100mph these buses would be pretty dreadful to drive.

It would appear for the lack of Theirry's steering wheel movement its not a big issue....prrof that its not just about upgrading everything else proportionally:

That's some impressive in-gear acceleration.

That said, I've overtaken many cars on (single lane per direction) A roads with my stock 1600...

Nice - I wish mine would go as well.

I wonder how often he has to stop to fill up?

With modern fuel injection and longer gears fuel economy can be really good.

Love the way he takes his hands off the wheel and claps whilst driving flat out.

Couldn't see me doing that at 20mph

Very nice 8)

thanks for posting that link, love the photos nice to see its an earlybay! He's a lucky guy.

The speedo made me laugh. Even if it is in kilometres per hour. ;) :)

Wow! Thanks for posting the links. Impressive vehicle and impressive work done.

Judging by the camera shake the suspension is lowered and harder than stock which helps sort out the problems at speed. - just read - whole new FS 8)

Mine makes a whistling noise at 50mph plus, through the gaps around the door, (need new seals)

No worries with the link guys.

I have never met Thierry, but next time i am down the south coust of France I will see if he fancies a cruise :) dont worry Trikky i'll let you know too :)

when I get chance I'm going to re-read his build htread as he's done some real good stuff...more importantly to a high standard
