vw baywindow westfalia 1970
Imported from California by a previous owner I purchased this van in 2019.
Since then it’s had a full engine overhaul on the 1600 fitted with twin solex carburettors , brake overhaul, full blade fuse wiring loom, window seals all-round, and much more mechanically to make it a get in and go camper.
The paintwork on the van is mostly original with a classic pinstripe believe to be added by an owner in the states it has a cool patina to it with the burnt roof, the van is very solid having had a cab floor, cargo floor and battery tray in my ownership
Inside it has had sound deadening, and dodo insulation applied along with a diesel heater to keep you warm at night. It also has a hob/sink unit and a Dometic cr50 electric fridge to keep the drinks cold.
We will really miss this camper but a bigger van is needed so unfortunately this has to go
