Thanks Vinvan for the offer
got sorted by the gate keeper
I'm sorted thanks

Still after one if anyone has a complete fully working
Not damaged, thanks.

Any particular type?
There's three types as far as I remember
There was a thread on here about them a while ago

Chad it clips onto a try located on the right side on the engine bay and connects to a solex carb on top. Suppose they all do. Been advised to put one in thanks for the advice will have a look for the thread thanks

They vary by how they deal with warming up, one has a small thermostat at the side, another has a wire to the 'main' thermostat and I forget how the 3rd operates.
They're all the same size and fit in the same place.
I went for the one with the thermostat on the side as it seemed the simplest but now you can't get replacement thermostats!

I thought they where easy to come by. wrong again!
so they come with or without a thermostats and would work on a 1600
