Wanted Retro/Vintage/Westy Awning suitible for LHD bay

Hi has anyone got a Retro/Vintage/Westy awning they would like to part with? can be modern as long as it has 'the look'

Shame but a guy was selling a really good original Westy one for £350 at VW Kent festival this year. Half tempted myself.

Picked up that awning today, very nice and exactly what i wanted but.. It turned out to be a RHD version...DOH!

Not sure whether to move it on or modifiy it

I know, pretty annoyed actually that i didn't check before hand.. Oh well another mistake to learn by in life.. I might give it a whirl at Chill n grill ten move it on

You dont get many LHD westy ones over here that are in good condition TBH, they usually tend to be a bit faded what with that thing the yanks called sun

If your not going to be 'driving away' its not too hard to modify to LHD....just cut the whole section out and seam the edges (if you are going to be 'driving away' sometimes.....cut it out, seam the edges and stick some press studs around the edges
