While replacing the clutch release arm today i had a look at a few things (as the engine was out) and noticed 1 of the manifold boots looked adrift, undone the clips and moved it into place and started to tighten it. Seems like i was tightening it for ever, had a lok and it had split length ways going round the boot (underneath the jubilee clip), anyway had a look on the internet at the usual sites and no-one seems to stock spares. i can buy a complete kit but not the spares. Rung up Kingfisher Kustoms (my local parts place i use) and they haven't got any, the only 1's they normally stock are urathane(?) and it will be at least 3 weeks before they get any in from the states  .
Anyone know anywhere i can get any from?

Try Eurocarb..they list a service kit for the progressive, might do the boots separately

They have always been very good at sending bits superfast :)

Had a look on there site, and as you say, they do a service kit but nothing else is listed.
I have emailed them so hopefully...........

Type 1 inlet manifold boots are the same. GSF will have them in stock for pennies.

I always thought this but the inlet manifold for the weber is a larger diameter than the stock manifold, i can get the standard boots from anywhere but i cant get the larger size boots.
A lot of places are selling the boots with the twin port inlets but i only want the boots themselves.
Thinking about maybe trying to use a peice of silicon hose but not sure if it will work?

Won't the stock boots stretch & fit? I can't remember off hand what diameter the Weber kit has.

I used stock boots on a type4 set up before.

They are cheap enough to have a go.

I did a google search on images to try to find a picture, but didn't come up with much.

It might be worth having a better look & see what you can see.

I will measure my standard ones that are fitted to my moody 1600 lump for you too.

EDIT: Stock manifold tube is 35mm.

Well i've decided to give standard boots a try, GSF stock standard type for £1 or silicon type for £2 each (+VAT) so going to chance a pair of silicon for the sake of a fiver.
Will update on my findings

I think you'll be ok,I've got a weber progressive with a scat manifold and the standard twin port boots are fitted.

Managed to get some silicon boots to fit, when i held then against the 1's i took off there was a difference in size but the silicon stretched enough to fit so hopefully this is now sorted, cheers guys
