Whats everyone think of cutting wholes in the bottom of it to fit speakers? Would be interested to know what you have all done?

Cheers

Dont do it, make a panel that goes behind the door, so you can keep it looking original, I hate to see interiors hacked up, its possible to do most mods without wrecking the original interior, well thats my 2 pence worth.

I have and i think it looks great but then i haven't got the original interior it's a custom base unit.

I have two sets of 6" seperates, two subs and two amps in the storage behind. when the seat is down it acts as a huge bass box

I have seen speakers mounted in a top cupboard thing that goes across the roof, you could also mount them in the side cupboard but then the balance is off imo.

Also a sub in the buddy seat seams to work. it all depends on your layout... horses for courses!

Look at this thread http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2589&start=120" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its not speakers but you get the idea.

you could just open the door when you want sound or take it off altogether. At least doing this way you will be able to return it to standard should you change your mind later or want to sell the bus on.
