Just curious but my westy is missing the pipe from the drink that goes to the vent in the roof. Can anyone tell me the purpose of these and also if they as hard to track down as it appears ?

Yes, they are tricky to find! They are a vent, to stop any manky water smells from the sink, there is a u bend pipe etc under the sink unit. Might be some usa regulation I think

They do come up from time to time, maybe a look on the samba. I'm sure a suitable pipe could be made to lok like the OG one with some cutting, glue and paint etc. Just look at Blue Peter with Tracey Island!

That makes sense and I'll just keep an eye out at the swap meets as I'm not convinced how much use the sink is going to get anyhow.
