westy tap unit

Having some troube trying to get my westy tap working. Will it only work with a electrical supply to the pump? Or is there some way it can be operated manually?

Hi - they work via a lever/handle on the side of the body! Pulling it back and forth manually pumps the water through! Have you any pics of yours?

Will post some pics up tomorrow if i have time. It has a lever on the tap unit but also a switch connecting to a electric pump in the water carrier itself. Is the pump standard for a westy?

No just by hand, someones modification along the journey
Heres a pic of mine, but i have replaced it with a new repro one

Given the year it's originally annual pump and if PO has added an electric pump gonna be a switch somewhere.
Probably need t prime the tap by filling the plastic bowl bit under the tap with water before it will draw water up.
