Hi Guys, i'm wanting to buy a set of twin carbs to improve my bhp and mpg on a 1600 twin port engine, i'm not wanting to pay through the nose! Has anyone got any suggestions on what carbs I should go for and do i need anything else?? Many thanks Paul

cb 34icts are the best value for money with an improvement in beans and mpg

i have a set of genuine webber 36IDFs + manifolds for £100 (off ebay), the linkage and filters from CB performance £120 posted. not set up yet but on a resonable budget i should get good power and fuel econ.

Despite that thread I went for some Weber ICT34's from Eurocarb. Being un-mechanically minded (as I seem to announce to everyone) I was unsure of the cons of having second hand carbs, and I wouldn't have a clue what was a good second hand set or otherwise. I am getting them installed next week so as yet I cannot tell you much about them!

A good choice  like I said in my post these are a great choice (CB Performance sells the weber carbs as does Eurocarb
