Previous owner had blocked off the wheel well and as I'm installing a full width R&R I wanted it back.

This is what I found when I pulled the carpet back!! Expanding foam!!

Anyway not to hard to remove, but then came my next problem

Wheel doesn't fit, just got a new tyre on it as well! I'll phone the tyre fitter and see it they can swap it. Doh should have checked first. The tyre is a 195/65, the width of the well is about 194mm.

Is the original tyre a 185?

Alternatively I could let some air out as I have an old 195 tyre, not on a wheel, and that fits, just.

185R14 is the original stock tyre size, about 82 profile.
Great thanks, I'm going to order a 185/70 R14, this will have approx same circumference as the 205/55 R15s that are already on. Called the garage that fitted the Black Circles tyre and they said I have to contact Black Circles if I want it refunding/changing. Never mind it was only £46.
