Hi - are there any adjustments that need to be made on twin webers for winter running? I'm guessing the answer is 'no' but can anyone confirm?

Cheers

I wouldn't have thought so as any adjustments are made at full running temperature.

You might get some popping when it's cold, due to no chokes, The best thing is to start the engine, then drive off straight away. That's the best way to get heat into the engine.

cheers Pete. I was thinking about what I have to do with my ghia in the winter. Because it had a standard carb you moved a flap so that it sucked warmer air in the winter...obviously impossible with webers but I wasn't sure if the mixture had to be adjusted. If not then great.

If you are choke-less then nothing, but if you have chokes you can adjust them slighty for colder weather, other than that nothing ive heard of.

wouldnt change em doood. Just remember to pump the accelerator a few times before turning the key. It will start like a dream  8)
