    1971 Dormobile Early Bay

I have pretty much decided to sell my camper, i'm 85% certain but personal circumstances leave me with the need for a more modern car, but we'll see! I said i'd never sell so it's a bit of a feeler at the moment, but I won't mess anybody around. 1971 Dormobile Early bay. Right. Engine. Recon...

    Petronix Ignitor 2 iginition

I recently bought this Unit brand new at the cost of £109. It is to suit a 009 dizzy. Here's the Petronix blurb.. The Ignitor II is an improved and updated electronic ignition with all the features of the Ignitor I plus a powerful micro-controller which senses current levels in the coil and...

    door cards

They were in my van when I got it. They might even be home made? They fit bang on though. I have taken them out as I bought a full set ready trimmed.

    door cards

I have some that you can have - all the holes line up perfectly. They are just sitting in my garage at the mo. Is it just the cab doors you need? Where abouts are you?

    Electronic ignition upgrade

I had electronic ignition 'professionally' :? fitted on Friday - a Petronix Ignitor 2 to be precise. It's opened a whole can of worms for me and the bus runs like crap now. Two 'specialists' have failed to get it running right since. At first it was running on two cylinders, now it runs ok...

    Please, not another engine.....

Quick update - had it looked at tonight and yes it runs much better, but the timing must have been quite a way out as I stopped on the way home and it wouldn't restart, just trying to turn over slowly. It wasn't strobed, so might not have been timed quite right. I loosened the dizzy and retarded...

    Please, not another engine.....

I"ll have to have other look....I would be AMAZED if the engine is toast? Sounds really rough at the moment though! :? One thing I will say, is I don't see how the valve rockers etc being worn can effect the spark?? I"m no engine tech but still?? :?: Where's Pete Nice when you need him....

    Please, not another engine.....

Yeah dude, tried both of those too....should have added it to the list. All the ignition system is new as well, which is even more ridiculous! It has started popping now too, must be the unburnt fuel  Been quoted £750 to rebuilt it with all new parts, new heads etc 1641 with an Engle...
