Hi guys.
So I’m looking for a replacement master cylinder for my T2. The bus was built October 1969 and has a master cylinder with two brake pipe connections and two separate electrical switch connections. I’m struggling to find the correct replacement part for this - has anyone replaced this...
I've got one fitted to mine and it's a million miles better than stock shifter and you can actually tell which gear you are selected no!! You mustnt have it fitted properly mate so I'd keep persevering as it's worth it.
I had this problem and it caused blowing from the gap. It's the crappy aftermarket exhaust boxes they sell these days.

Someone said they had used a cut down coke can...
Can Anyone recommend a good machine shop in the northeast to line bore a case? I've got a good case I'm going to do a new build on bit want it boring so I know it's solid for the build project.
Want somewhere that knows about vw's and what is required etc etc.
Cheers

yes ive had the same issue - it works loose every now and then - there must be a way to lock the nut but i havnt fathomed it out yet - im sure someone will have a fix
Thanks Bertiebus - I've got the standard clamps but they don't properly fit the gap between the exhaust and heat exchanger thingy so I'm looking for something wider - Im searching eBay now!!
It's the exhaust to heat exchanger clamp that's isn't wide enough - this one - need something wider

Yes I think the aftermarket exhausts are utterly rubbish in terms of fit - might use some exhaust sealer round the seals and see if that makes a difference!! :x :x
