By trade I’m an HGV and heavy plant mechanic, past 7 years I’ve worked at the Port of Felixstowe as engineer working on the trucks, container handlers & ship to shore cranes.

Fast fab or CSP are my go to’s

Spring plates & drums re painted, new hardware, new handbrake cables, longer studs fitted & torqued into drums, hub nuts torqued and shoes adjusted up. Will get new shocks sorted next

Those oil temps are fine, plus water doesn’t need to boil in order to evaporate.

Both sorts of CSP linkages are almost impossible to beat, like all German engineering they are beautifully made. Bellcrank style on my beetle Hex-bar on the bus
